  • State Fund

    State Fund

    Brochure Design
The MPN was a particularly difficult brochure because it was meant to flip half-way into Español, which takes more words than the English version. I went with a crisp, cool blue that seemed appropriate to a medical brochure without being overpowering. The left brochure explained heat illness prevention measures.

  • Logos

    Colgan Creek, IMG Lighting, MobileMallUSA

    Logo Design
The Colgan Creek logo was meant to be a in the same family as the National/State parks posters and logos with a silhouette approach. EcoLightOn is a preliminary logo for a line of Green lamps, Mobile Mall wanted a very modern looking logo in bright primary colours.

  • BariMD

    BariMD Efficiency Center

    Direct Mail, E-mail Campaign
This was a large mailing sent to attendees of the ASMBS conference to remind them of the BariMD booth. Originally they were going to use the one created in-house at left, but were persuaded to redesign. I created the mailing on the right to give a welcoming feel and reflect the location of the conference.

  • Bertotti

    Bertotti Landscaping

Direct Mail & Magazine Advertisement Campaign
This was a series of three advertisements featuring different award-winning estate garden designs. I created a very plain horizontal version the previous year, and this ad I submitted several other designs, but this was chosen since it was the most colourful and eye-catching as well as being easily adaptable.

  • State Fund

State Fund, Golden Gate Opera, NetBooks

    Program, Flyer, White Papers
State Fund preferred their graphic design in large box sections with thick borders, whereas NetBooks had a specific airy clean feel in their request for white papers. In the middle is a flyer for Madama Butterfly.

  • Century 21

    Century 21 Bundesen

    Brochures
This was created to explain the Real Estate Management program for people with tenants. There were many different designs offered, but they went with the clean quadrant feel. They especially liked the pull quote on the spread top left.

  • Imagination Lane Audio

    Imagination Lane Audio Productions

Logo, Web Design, Web Programming, Podcast Post-Production
The client expressed the views they wanted greys and greens. I incorporated the smaller logo in with the extended version with the L and the I becoming merged into one entity which also works as a stand alone piece. The line below reflects the "Lane" in the name.

  • Century 21

    Century 21 Bundesen

    Outdoor Advertising Billboards
These were created in illustrator so that they could easily scale up to any size without loss of quality. Bundesen is often involved in large land sales and wanted a look to reflect Sonoma County. This was adapted across into some newspaper ads and other materials as well.

  • BariMD

    BariMD

    Logo Design, Website Design
This was an update from an older logo that was beginning to look a bit dated. It needed a cleaner, more modern look while still retaining the general impression of the branding.

  • Lawrence of Arabia

Dominican University - Lawrence of Arabia

    Posters, Illustration
Based upon his poetry in Pillars of Wisdom, using archaeological aspirations, this was a series of twenty posters. They combine Art Deco shapes and a texture of swirling sense of sand and dust. The posters were on display in the upstairs of San Marco library for several weeks.

  • Invitations

California Restaurant Association & California Farm Bureau

    Direct Mail
The invitation on the left was deliberately created in an Art Deco style, I did extensive research into the graphic design and illustrations of the period. On the right is an invite for "Wine & Roses" which the client requested have a sentimental Tuscan feel.

  • Roses

    Vector "Plastic" Illustration

    HR Matrix (2009)
These were created for a brochure where I took existing old style graphs and converted them into a modern "plastic" feel which was prevalent at the time.
